The Bertoia chair has a lovely light look to it, thanks to its see-through wire mesh frame. Created by Italian-American designer Harry Bertoia in the in the 1950's, at the time the chair was revolutionary for it's springy, see-through metal frame, in a sea of wooden designer furniture.
